Anja Hesp from IJzersterk Interiordesign faced a unique challenge in designing an apartment located by Amsterdam's picturesque IJ river. The apartment's unusual sawtooth shape posed a major design challenge, but Anja rose to the occasion with a creative solution.

Drawing inspiration from the apartment's unique shape, Anja incorporated triangular shapes into the design of the lamps and fabrics, adding subtle touches of interest throughout the space. The dining table was also custom-made to fit the shape of the room, with one side slanting to match the wall.
