Project 2025

This charming house has undergone a complete transformation. While the ground floor previously consisted of separate, closed-off spaces—a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen—now that the children have left home, there's a desire for more openness and a lovely, spacious kitchen-diner with an island.

We therefore opted for a completely new layout that brings air and light back into the house. Because the house was naturally somewhat dark and has low ceilings, the lighting plan played a key role. With the right lighting, a warm, inviting atmosphere is created, making the rooms appear larger. At the same time, the house has been made more sustainable with insulation and underfloor heating, which is not only more comfortable but also future-proof.

When selecting the furniture, we carefully considered what suited the residents. They preferred light colors and minimal contrast. Wall coverings were chosen here and there to add texture. Everything was newly purchased and carefully selected, ensuring that the colors, materials, and ease of use are beautifully balanced with the tranquil look they envisioned.
