This characteristic semi-detached house, built in 1933, has undergone a significant transformation – with great care for preserving its authenticity while adding modern comfort.

Thanks to the original stained-glass windows, the house radiates a warm sense of nostalgia. This artisanal detail not only holds historical value but also brings a play of light and color into the interior. All windows are fitted with double glazing, making the house more energy-efficient in combination with underfloor heating and insulation.

In the kitchen, I chose calm, neutral colors to complement the beautiful view of the church. Part of the dividing wall was removed to create an open space and allow more natural light to reach the dining table. The wall lamps by Vibia were used in several places throughout the design – in the entrance, the kitchen, and the living room.

In the bedroom, a refined wall covering by Arte was applied. The custom-made wardrobe was finished in Smoked Green. This deep, smoky green shade with a bluish undertone exudes both tranquility and elegance, making it especially suitable for bedrooms, as it pairs beautifully with natural materials and creates a calming atmosphere.

In the bathroom, a large custom-made mirror was installed to both enhance the sense of space and reflect daylight. This makes the bathroom feel much larger and fresher. The height of the wall tiles behind the bath was aligned with the bottom of the mirror, creating a refined effect. All cabinetry in the bathroom and toilet is crafted from solid oak.
